ATM

ATM Machines are inside the convention center off the Market Street entrance.

BOOTHS

Each booth is enclosed on three sides with 8’ tall pipe and drape to the back and 3’tall side rail drape.  Included in each 10×10 booth package:

  • One skirted table
  • Two chairs
  • One waste basket
  • Four complimentary name badges
  • One Exhibitor booth sign

Additional furniture, carpeting, and other decorations can be ordered through Convention Decorating Services (CDS).  Forms will be available at check-in.

CALIFORNIA STATE SELLERS PERMITS

Any business that sells a product in the State of California regardless of whether or not you actually sell at the show site needs to obtain a California Seller’s Permit. You will not be allowed to participate in the Bay Area Golf Show until you can provide this permit number or prove you are exempt as a non-taxable service. If you have not provided us with your sellers permit number or have any questions please stop by check-in. Information regarding the CA Sellers Permits is posted on this web site.

CLEANING SERVICES

Show management will arrange for cleaning of the aisles, but each exhibitor is responsible for cleaning and maintaining their own display and bulk areas.

CONSTRUCTION LIMITATIONS

Exhibitors using any masonry, gravel or similar building materials on the floor of the display for decorative purposes must first put down a protective covering of roofing paper or similar material.  Exhibitors are also responsible for all maintenance and clean up of these materials.

ELECTRICITY

Edlen Electrical is the electrical provider for this event.  Pre-order to save money! Forms are available on our web site. Edlen Electrical will be onsite to help facilitate your electrical needs while at the show. There are forms in the CDS Decorator Kit, and will also be available on-site. *NOTE: Order by Feb. 20th to receive advance discount rates.

FIRE RESTRICTIONS

All draperies, decoration materials and signs used by exhibitors shall be flame proof material or fire resistant and shall be approved by the Fire Department of the City of San Jose.

FORK LIFTS/HANDCARTS

If you need a forklift to assist your move-in and have not scheduled one already please stop by the CDS desk so they can try to assist you.  Handcart service can be arranged through CDS as well (for a fee).  Please remember, if you know you will require this service, plan ahead by pre-ordering.

INTERNET

If you need to order internet service, you will need to order directly from Streamline Communications. You can order by calling 408-437-7730 or download the order form from our exhibitor main page under order forms.

LOST & FOUND

Please see any Golf Show Staff Member to return or claim lost or found items.

NAME BADGES

Exhibitors will gain admission to the show using the name badge provided by the Golf Show.  Each exhibiting booth will be provided with a limited number of name badges to be used for employees working your exhibit.

PARKING

There are multiple lots located at and around the San Jose Convention Center. Click here for more information. Parking starts at $7 per day and up depending on the lot. Parking is NOT free on the move in day.

REMOVAL OF EXHIBIT MATERIALS

Move out begins at 4:01pm Sunday afternoon.  No exhibit materials should be removed before this time.

SECURITY

The exhibit areas will be locked up securely one hour after the show closes each night. No one will be allowed in the exhibit area until one hour prior to the public opening each day, except opening day.

SHIPPING

If you are shipping materials, boxes or your booth, you can make arrangements with CDS. Please note: If you ship to show site, there will be a receiving fee charged by CDS. See the exhibitor kit for costs.

WILL CALL

In addition to the staff badges received at check in, each exhibitor will also receive four (4) complimentary show passes for each 10×10 booth.  Passes will be available at check-in only. We will provide envelopes for will call if you wish to leave them for staff or guests. Envelopes will be collected at the check-in counter up until 10 am on Friday morning. Beyond that point you can drop them off at the box office. Tickets must be in envelopes with the business or individuals (last name, first name) name written clearly before will call will accept them.  Also note your name or company name on the bottom left corner.

**Badges may NOT be left at Will Call for persons working only Saturday or Sunday shifts. If they are not available Friday to pick up their badges they will require a ticket left at will call under the company name.
